Escape the city and enjoy a relaxing day trip from Thessaloniki to Pozar Thermal Baths and Edessa. Located at the foot of Mount Voras, the natural hot springs of Pozar maintain a steady temperature of around 37°C all year round and are known for their therapeutic properties.
After hotel pickup in Thessaloniki, travel approximately 1.5 hours through the countryside before arriving at the baths. Here you will have around two hours to relax in the outdoor thermal pools, surrounded by mountain scenery and flowing streams. Indoor pools may also be available upon request, depending on availability.
After your time at the baths, continue to the charming town of Edessa, once the first capital of the ancient Kingdom of Macedonia. The town is famous for its impressive waterfalls, including the largest in Greece. Enjoy free time to walk along the scenic waterfall paths, cross small bridges, and admire the dramatic views over the gorge.
